1. Definitions & Scope of Service

The "Service" refers specifically to the cleaning and household maintenance tasks booked and paid for through the CleanFocusy.cc platform. It does not encompass adjacent services like laundry, interior design consultation, or grocery delivery unless explicitly listed as a service option and confirmed in writing.

A "Booking" constitutes a confirmed service date and time, agreed upon price, and a specific task list. The "Client" is the individual or entity initiating the booking. The "Cleaner" is the vetted professional assigned to complete the tasks, operating as an independent contractor under CleanFocusy's operational standards.

Operational Note:

All cleaners are direct contractors, not employees. This affects liability and service guarantee parameters.

Booking & Payment

  • • Payment is required in full to secure a booking slot.
  • • Prices are fixed per service tier; additional tasks require a new quote.
  • • Cancellations within 24 hours of service are non-refundable.
  • • Rescheduling is complimentary if requested >48 hours prior.

Liability & Insurance

  • • CleanFocusy holds public liability insurance for all booked services.
  • • Client must disclose fragile items or valuables prior to service.
  • • Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours with photographic evidence.
  • • Our insurance policy covers accidental damage up to €5,000 per incident.

Access & Preparation

  • • Clients must provide secure access (code, key, or remote entry).
  • • For safety, we cannot clean areas with active pest infestations.
  • • Pre-clean clutter must be manageable; major decluttering is not included.
  • • Pets must be secured in a separate area for cleaner safety.

Satisfaction & Re-clean

  • • If unsatisfied, notify us within 12 hours of service completion.
  • • We will re-clean specific areas once at no additional cost.
  • • Re-clean requests must be for the original scope of work.
  • • This does not cover pre-existing conditions or client changes of mind.

Our Terms Are Built on Constraints: We operate within the limits of safe, practical, and efficient work. We cannot clean behind sealed appliances, nor can we use bleach-based products on marble surfaces. These aren't excuses—they are the guardrails that protect both your home and our team's professional standards.

What Would Change Our Mind? Transparency. If a client provides clear instructions, photographs of fragile items, and a realistic timeline, the service operates flawlessly. Our terms are the baseline; your communication elevates the outcome.

Standard Clean includes surface wiping only.
Degreasing requires 90 mins, extra chemical, and specialty tools.

A smooth service is a shared responsibility. This checklist outlines what we expect from you, and what you can expect from our team. Adherence to these points prevents 99% of potential issues.

  • Secure and accessible property entry at scheduled time.
  • Disclose allergies, sensitivities, or security devices prior to service.
  • Clear major obstacles from work areas (toys, heavy furniture).
  • Provide a garbage bag for collected waste and access to water.

CleanFocusy Standards

  • Arrive within 10 minutes of appointment time or call if delayed.
  • Use specified eco-friendly products unless client requests otherwise.
  • Wear branded uniform, provide own equipment, maintain professional conduct.
  • Complete a post-clean checklist and communicate any issues found.
